Grandma Vivian “Vivi”
Vivian was a strong, compassionate matriarch—the heart of a large family. She gave love and strength to those around her, even while pursuing her own path with grace. Full of life and open to new experiences, Vivian brought lightness and joy wherever she went. Her presence left a lasting mark on all who loved her.

Vivian with her husband and mother-in-law. Vivian was married for 49 years until her husband passed in 1996. She was naturally beautiful and had a great fashion sense. Vivian’s spirit and energy made her even more gorgeous.
Vivian and husband with their 8th child on his wedding day. Vivian and her husband had 10 kids. She played an integral role in the lives of their children, 22 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, and 7 great great-grandchildren.
Vivian with two of her grandchildren. Vivian was a skilled carpenter who built the deck in this picture while in her 60s. She enjoyed spending time with family - the deck was home to many moments of celebration, conversations, and connection.
Vivian stayed active throughout her life and lived to be 92-years-old. She bowled on several leagues, traveled to visit family, and continued to be active outside of the house. Vivian was up for most anything and knew how to laugh at herself. She made people feel at ease and enjoyed life, despite difficult things she had been through.
